About the Orchestra

Formed in 1970 by its founding Music Director, Roy Wales, the English Concert Orchestra is a versatile professional ensemble that has wide experience of performing the symphonic, choral and operatic repertoire.

It can appear as a full symphony orchestra or as a chamber ensemble and has performed in many venues in London and the provinces.

During the coming year it will give performances in London,  Birmingham and at various venues in the South of England.
